We’re committed to making sure rental is a safe and secure community for everyone. Every member who rents items above a certain price has to complete our ID verification process. Once you have requested to book an item, where required, you will be guided through the ID verification process.

We work with Stripe, a company with leading verification technology, to verify your identity:

1. The process takes 2 minutes to complete.
2. We will ask for your driver’s licence or passport.
3. If Stripe is unable to verify you (if, for example, you have a foreign ID), we may ask for additional information via email such as a utility bill or proof of UK address.

Once your ID has been successfully verified, you will receive confirmation of your booking.

Please note: Your ID documentation is not stored by us. All documentation is held by a secure third party and will not be shared. All data is transmitted and stored using encryption technology.
